Kumi Yamashita - Shadow Artist

Remember the "One Man's Trash" I shared with you a while back? Here's another artist, Kumi Yamashita, who creates shadows which tell more of the story than the objects that create them. Beautiful. (Click the image to go see more.)

I just went to a 'one man show'. It takes time to redirect your thinking to achieve such simplicity. I'll bet he watched his and all his friend's shadows as a child. Refreshing!

Donna,
And isn't that what art is all about? To teach us to look at things a new way. Kumi did it brilliantly!
