Library Day!

Sometimes I love to just go to the library or a bookstore and READ. I don't do it nearly often as I'd like, but I did it today. My friend Claire joined me at the Children's Library, part of the Edinburgh Central Library on the George IV Bridge.They don't keep picture books in any sort of order at this library, because it would be near on impossible to manage when little hands are constantly pulling books out and putting them back. So they keep them on shelves and in cases like this.You just filter through and grab what looks interesting. It was a lot. In one day I read these. See any of your favorites? Afterwards, we went to lunch and talked and talked about picture books, stories, the industry, and life. What an awesome time! I hope we do it again soon!
