The High Museum of Art in Atlanta has a new and important show opening called
PICTURE THE DREAM: THE STORY OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT THROUGH CHILDREN'S BOOKS. It's curated by Andrea Davis Pinkney, editor for Scholastic in New York City, whose husband is the amazing illustrator, Brian Pinkney. I'm proud that several friends have work in the show, like Laura Freeman and R. Gregory Christie. It will be on view until November 8th - gosh I hope I can go somehow.
