Our First Female VP!

I took a photo of Kamala Harris giving her speech on Saturday night because I wanted to remember where I was, what my life was like, on the day that the first woman (and woman of color) became our first Vice President of the United States, shattering a glass ceiling that has felt more like lead to all women for so long. No matter your politics, this is a momentous occassion and one worthy of celebration!My fervent wish from this moment going forward, is that this will not be an anomoly, but simply a beginning towards validation, recognition, and equality of the rights of all people to follow their passions with all opportunities and possibilities of success available to them.
