The New York Times did a lovely tribute: "Maurice Sendak, Author of Splendid Nightmares, Dies at 83."Also, there was a cool tribute site to Maurice's work created about a year or two ago called "Terrible Yellow Eyes." It's Sendak-inspired work by other artists and is very groovy.
