Rock Hill Christmasville

Saturday and Sunday, Rock Hill celebrated CHRISTMASVILLE! We've been hearing about this since we moved here, so were excited to find out what it was all about. Like I said, Rock Hill can throw a PARTY! Main Street was shut down so that tents could set up with Christmas trinkets, food, and souvenirs. There were jugglers on segues...
Trapeze dancers from Winthrop University's Aerial Dance program...
A glass blower...
Horse and carriage rides (I caught the horse sticking out his tongue at us!)...
Places to pose - here's Stan as the Grinch...
A carousel...
and a Ferris Wheel (just like in Edinburgh! Well, almost...)...
and beautiful things to purchase like these hand-made books...
and the pie tin turned into a Snowman that now adorns our apartment door (everyone in the building decorates their doors for the holidays).
Not pictured are the food trucks, the ice-skating rink, the Fountain Park stage with kids performing, and the pony rides. All of this was within walking distance from our wee flat. I had a feeling we'd enjoy living downtown - and wow, have we! Of course, the best part of it all was the Christmas Tree at Fountain Park. Merry Christmas!
