e's art tips #10: On Line Quality

I am a line geek. Working at Buster Brown Apparel on the licensed Peanuts clothing line early in my career, having to duplicate Charles Schulz's gorgeous line did it to me. It took work to recreate his line when drawing Snoopy, work that taught me to forever consider a beautiful line. Lines are not simply for holding the color in an illustration, they are a key element to any successful illustration.
