Winthrop Lake
Paula and I went walking again - this time around Winthrop Lake.
The lake backs up to the rec center and the baseball field on one side, and a neighborhood on the other.
It's a popular place to walk, but somehow, I hadn't done it yet.
The park is closed to all but walkers and bicyclers. In fact, we saw some folks get in trouble with the cops for trying to play frisbee.
Meanwhile, I was out of breath trying to breathe through my new face mask - or am I already that out of shape?
(Here's Paula standing in a permanent fixture from the Come See Me Festival.) Either way, it was a lovely day for a walk, and boy did I need it!!!
