Jennifer's Studio

Remember when my Hollins friend Jennifer Anderson Printz and her husband visited us in Edinburgh? Well, they are off on their next adventure themselves, moving to Miami, Florida where Jennifer will be Assistant Professor of Drawing at Florida International University. Before they leave, she held her annual studio tour. It's a great opportunity for our students to see a real, working studio - and it's such an inventive one, too!
Jennifer created very groovy adjustable tables/easles against the walls. So cool!
Since she's moving, she had nearly her entire body of work on display, and for sale! I purchased two pieces for our new flat, an etching and a collage piece.
A highlight was meeting Jennifer's colleague, Brian Gentry, who had some of the most awesome tattoos I've ever seen! Edward Gorey on one arm...
and Where the Wild Things Are on the other!
One of Jennifer's pieces has already settled into its new home in our new flat in Rock Hill. So happy!
