Our Faculty Critique Group

This summer at Hollins University, we are continuing the annual tradition of our Faculty Critique Group. We meet once a week, every week all summer. Any visiting academics, writers, or illustrators are welcome to join us, so we've had some pretty illustrious members over the years. But this year, this is our core. Me, Karen Chandler, and Hillary Homzie (I'm behind the camera)...Ruth Sanderson, Karen Coats, Ashley Wolff, and Ellen Kushner...and Kara LaReau, John Gurney, and Delia Sherman.We go around the circle reading our latest works and giving valuable feedback. This summer, I'm sharing my novel-in-progress for my PhD. So far, they seem to like it - YAY!!!
