You know my husband is a wonderful cook. Well, during this time of not going out very much, I'm going to try to share more of his recipes. The first is based on
Jaimie Oliver's Corn Chowder Recipe, but he changes it up (of course), adding one or two Cod filets, shrimp, and any other shellfish if he happens to have it on hand. (We also use soy-milk and it's still fabulous.) This is one of those meals that takes advantage of seafood sales at the grocer. Freeze them and keep them ready for this unctious soup and surprisingly sweet stew. Top with chopped chives and it is positively
guest-worthy (our highest ranking).
