A friend from Taiwan has helped solve the mystery of what it all says. The line of horizontal text at the top lists three of the book's awards. I forget what that second line is. The title is obvious but reads "The Bird on the Water Street" or some such. The little vertical text next to it is the translator's name. The longer vertical text is my name. And the badge says something like 'master craftsman' or 'master work' or some such. I'm not sure what the text at the bottom is. Will try to find out! :) e

That same friend also said this: The text at the bottom says who publishes the book. The upper one is the publishing group, the lower one is the publisher. :) e
