Back to Hollins!

If I had to leave Scotland, this was the place to go! I am back at my beloved and beautiful Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia (the heart of the Appalachian mountains) to teach Picture Book Design in the MFA in Children's Book Writing and Illustrating program. And I'm back to my summer zen - visiting the stables... (here are Kate, person; Tucker, horse; and Copper, dog)...where I brush the horses to relax.Stan is with me until July 1st when he moves into our new flat in South Carolina, so we've been enjoying morning walks around this beautiful campus, soaking up the sunshine and Vitamin D like starved solar panels!I'll share lots more photos soon!
