David Bowie's Space Oddity - in space
We lost a great musician this week. David Bowie passed away from cancer and with him a generational chapter closed. I played some David Bowie songs on my new guitar in tribute. It was lovely how simple some of the songs were to play, and yet complex to master (which I haven't). Meanwhile, Foxtrot Alpha reminded us of a tribute video made in 2013 of a real astronaut, Commander Chris Hadfield, playing Space Oddity while aboard the International Space Station. David Bowie approved and called it, "possibly the most poignant version of the song ever created." CLICK HERE to read the full article and click the image to watch the recording on YouTube.
